HP Pavilion DV7-7080EL recovery disk

I have received yesterday my new pc HP Pavilion DV7-7080EL. I am having an issue tring to create the recovery disk using the proper utility.

I can create the 1st and 2nd dvd but when it perform the check of data in the third dvd at the 81% it says the check is failed. I have already tried 3 times.

What I have to do?

I would contact HP ( the telephone number can be found on the relevant link below ) and explain that the Recovery Media Creator is unable to create a viable set of Recovery Discs and request that they send you a free replacement set of discs.

I have called hp and they said I will receive the disks in 10 days. It seams to be a known issue...

Moreover I had to talk with an impolite guy also who tried to persuade me to pay €140 to have tow more years of warranty, but I have already paid to this extension when I got the laptop (€17 to the shop)

The guy I asked the disks was ok, the other one wasn't nice at all.

He says it was my bad the issues with the disks, because I don't understand anything about pc that's why I need the extention.

Anyway I'm not going to pay extra money, I think one year is enough to spot all the eventual problems in my laptop. I will use it for programming simulations with matlab and geant4 that are quite expensive languages.
