HP Pavilion dv6-3110sa & Sims 3 (+ Expansions)

Hi, so I'm looking to buy a laptop, and I came across the HP Pavilion dv6-3110sa

 

It seems to meet the Sims 3 Requirements, however my old desktop met the Sims 2 requirements and I had major trouble with that, so you could say I'm paranoid now. I guess I just want reassurance that the Sims 3, plus expansions will run smoothly and at medium/high settings (don't want them to be preset at low).

 

These are some of the laptop specs:

 

Operating System: Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit

 

Processor: AMD Turion™ II Dual-Core Processor P5402.4 GHz, Level 2 cache 2 MBAMD RS880M chipset

 

Memory: 4 GB DDR3 (2 x 2048 MB)2 user accessible memory slotsSupports up to 8 GB DDR3 memory

 

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 5470 Graphics (switchable), up to2202 MB total graphics memory with 512 MB DDR3 dedicated

 

Sims 3 Requirements:


FOR WINDOWS VISTA (does this apply to Windows 7 also?)

  • 2.4 GHz P4 processor or equivalent
  • 1.5 GB RAM
  • 128 MB Video Card with support for Pixel Shader 2.0
  • Microsoft Windows Vista Service Pack 1
  • At least 6.1 GB of hard drive space with at least 1 GB of additional space for custom content and saved games
