Anyone gotten QuickPlay to work properly under Windows 7?
I've got a DV7-1020US upgraded in-place to Windows 7 x64 (Ultimate).....Quick Play hangs at "loading" on a blue ray, loses tool bar items when trying to play a DVD...loses mouse focus. half the time, can't find the TV tuner.
On both Vista x64 and Windows 7, Quick Play (3.7.6310) keep saying a newer version of the software is avaialble, but it always then attempts to download the same file from the website.

I think the problems some have with Windows 7 are simply due to the fact that their hardware isn't (yet?) supported. I tried the RC on and old Pavilion ze4800, and the network hardware was simply not supported. I also put it on a Dell Mini 9, and it worked amazingly well. If you're trying to install Windows 7 RC1 on anything other than the most recent notebooks, you'll likely have problems.
As I use my new notbook is for work, I plan to wait until the official release. It is still a beta after all, and as well as it seems to work, there are still chances of issues.

Update on Quick Play....
before I did the in-place upgrade to Win 7, I had used Norton's Save and Restore 2 to image the disk. I reverted to Vista Home Premium (x64) and immediately re-tried the BluRay disk...worked fine as did any DVD I tried.
I've got 2 320 GB HD's in my DV7, so I'm going to clean one off and install Win 7 in a dual boot configuration on the 2nd HD. That'll give me a better comparison between the two. Other than the Quick Play issue (and I can play DVD is Windows Media Center under Win 7, just not BluRay's) I found Win 7 faster, and in general better than Vista.

Is anyone else having problems getting the actual kit ordered? When prompted for the serial number and product number, the serial number is accepted but the product number (NL181AV) is rejected. I have looked at all the packaging for an extended #??? suffix to add but it simply does not exist. Model is a Pavilion dv2z-1100 CTO. Really irritating since this should be an extremely simple process.
