HP (dv7-1132nr) IDT audio and ATI 3200 XP DRIVER

Yes I did but I can’t see the bus driver at device manger, do you know which IDT driver I used realtek version and the device manger look ok but without UAA Bus Driver for HD Audio. So I got only voice through one external headphone

Check in Device Manager under 'System Devices' .There should be a listing for Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio.

i found that the only Universal Audio Architecture file works on the DV7-1132 is  (UAA)UAA KB888111 from Microsoft and it helps to procced to install IDT HD codecs to see the sound card bus driver at device manger, if you install many UAA files,  this will ban you from continuo the installation process.

But I still can’t find the right (THE ADI High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver ), I tried many from different forums but all of them missing the right STHDA.SYS Audio File.  This file used also in many other laptop like dell , I am digging  to find this file. is there  any one can help to find STHDA.SYS Audio File.

CherylG thanks for your respond , i will try install that once i got the my laptop back  from HP service as this HP series look like have some problem with cpu and the AC adaptor , the problem is  the noise came from CPU like whining sound  /( noise )as well as the the adapter have noise while connected to the laptop. i will update the fourm with the result. i hope they can fix this problem soon
