HPWA and remote issue in windows 7

[ Edited ]

I have a HP pavilion dv6846tx laptop. I upgraded it to windows 7 ultimate 64bit (fresh install). I’m having following issues with it. Someone can give me some solutions

  1. I have installed HP wireless assistant 3.50.11.2. But it’s not working properly. If I turned off Bluetooth or wifi or both on HPWA it not giving me option to turn those on, unless once I switch off and on the hardware wireless switch.
  2. An express card remote came with my laptop. When I’m pressing Media centre button on it media centre application not starting up. When I’m pressing the button on remote in shut down mode laptop starts up, so the remote and sensor working.

Re: HPWA and remote issue in windows 7

No solution yet!!!

Well media centre n remote is net much bigger issue for me because I used that application just sometime.

But the issue with HP wireless assistant is a difficult for me, often I need to switch off/on Bluetooth n wifi (separately) so I can’t use the hardware switch always.
