Having problem with finding a drivers for my laptob

Hello,

I have HP DV6500 which has windows 7 home basic.

I just format that laptob and i wanna know which drivers are necessary to download and may I have those drivers ?

Hi:

HP does not officially support your model notebook with Windows 7 drivers.

You can use the Vista drivers for your notebook from the support and driver page for your model.

Normally you should install in this order and reboot after each install:

Chipset

Video (Graphics)

Audio

Network

Thank you, but whenever I try to instal the driver, there is an ERROR message says " Driver Installation Failed; Could not find the device for this driver."

What should i do for this case ?

Please click on the audio device needing drivers in the device manager.

Then click on the details tab.

In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Those will identify the model of the audio chip you have and I can try and find the right driver for it.
