I reinstalled window xp on my hp dc 7100 and now I'm missing all types of drivers and cannot connect to the internet. When I go to device manager i show yellow question marks next to the following
ethernet controller
multimedia audio controller
video controller
video conroller (vga compatible)
I've been working on this issue for days now and really need help

Hi:
These should be the XP drivers you need:
First install the chipset driver and reboot:
Then install the video driver and reboot: This driver is for the onboard video.
If you have an add-on video card, you will need to let me know what model card you have. If you don't know, click on the video controller in the device manager. Then click on the details tab. Post the top string of characters you see. Those will ID the model of the video card you have.
Audio: Install and reboot
Network:
That should do it.

Hi, Genaralsion:
I think I can get some of them They are all ATI devices except one of them.
First Install the chipset/video driver and reboot:
Then install the MS UAA driver and reboot:
Audio driver:
Modem driver:
Texas Instruments card reader driver:
Hopefully, that willl get most of them.

Hi. Thank you very much for your help. I installed through the links you sent to me, every other yellow question sign is gone except for the network controller yellow sign. Please where do i go from here to connect to the internet. The details for the network controller is PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4318&SUBSYS_1355103C&REV_02\4&138

You're very welcome.
That is your Broadcom wireless adapter. If you look at your post above, you did not provide that Device ID.
It appears you duplicated one of the others.
In any event, below is the link to the latest wireless driver you need for your card.

Hi:
Those hardware ID's you posted contain the code for the manufacturer of the device and the type of device.
Then I just enter them at this site below, or google them and it makes it easier to find the drivers on the support page.
Try entering your wiress card vendor (VEN) and device (DEV) codes above and you will see what I am referring to.
