Hi, All.
Our Pavilion 752n is ready for the computer recycler. We would like to wipe the drive clean before letting it go. I see that a start up disk is helpful, but the PC came with no disks.
Can you provide step-by-step instructions for formatting the C drive, please?
Thanks.
B

If you are donating it , you could create the Recovery Disk set, boot from them and format/reinstall back to factory specs.Pass the Recovery set along to new owner: Instructions HERE
You also have the option of doing a Destructive System Recovery using the shortcut in the Start Menu or by holding the F10 key right after power on.Be sure to choose Advanced option and Destructive to format and reinstall: HERE
If you are just trashing the PC and don't care about an OS on it_Try booting with a utilty cd to remove partitions/ format hdd. I have read good reviews for Partition Wizard .Download the bootable cd iso here .Get ImgBurn here to burn the image to cd. Boot with the cd and format away.
