How to change the browser for HP Simple Pass 2011?

I have an 2011 HP with simple pass. I wanted to use another browser besides internet explorer. I currently downloaded firefox 10.0.2 and the simple launch works. However, the simple pass for automatically signing in does not? How do i fix that??
