B Add a screenshot to a new post or reply on the HP Support Forum (recommended solution)

Note:

This solution is recommended.

When you will start new post or want to reply in any topic you will see situation just like on below picture. To add screenshot to message which you started to create this way click ' Insert / edit image ' icon ScreenshotBuiltIn_02.png.

ScreenshotBuiltIn_01.png

After this action new window will show up. Choose ' Browse ' and go to path where you have saved screenshot which you want to paste. Double click it with right button of your mouse.

When you will do this under ' Image Title ' will be showed original name of this file.

If you want you may change:

  • Image Title on other name,
  • ' Image Size ' and ' Image Alignment ' by using the dropdown selector.

When everything will be set click ' Insert Image '.

ScreenshotBuiltIn_04.png

Picture is now added to message which you are creating.

To post it on board select ' Post ' button.

Congratulations! Screenshot is now added to your reply.

If you will see picture of a triangle (like below) instead of screenshot which you tried to add then this will mean then it needs approval from the moderator.

In this step you may choose any ' Name ' for folder.

Share rights are now set to ' Just me '.  They are to low so you will need to change them on higher level. To do this click ' Change '.

Capture_06.png

Please move slider from ' Just me ' to level ' Everyone (public) '.

In this step I've changed default folder name on ' HP Consumer Support Forum '.

You may leave it as it is or change it for something else. It's your choice.

It will look like this. Select ' Next '.

Finally we may upload photos. First set photo size to ' Original '. Then drop photo to designated area or click ' select documents from your computer '.

Re: How to take and post a screenshot on HP costumer Support Forum

You can also use uploadscreenshot.com.  Just hit printscreen and paste it to the site's front page.  It'll give you HTML for this forum.
