I need xp drivers for pavilion dv5 - 1161

[ Edited ]

Hi everyone, I have a pavilion dv5 - 1161 (named 3070ro in my country) with Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26 GHz),15,4 WXGA BV,4GB (2x2GB),320/5400GB,DVDRW DL LS,HDMI,BT,Nvidia Geforce 9600GT, Wireless Intel WiFi Link 5100,3D sb Altec Lansing, Webcam,Vista Home Premium,

and I'm not satisfied at all with Vista while a bunch of my programs doesn't work on Vista. I can't even install my printer, a canon mp160. So I'm determined to downgrade to XPsp2. Primary I want to make a set of recovery disc, then I want to repartition my hdd because I have an 300Gb first partition and to install XPsp2.

My first question is if the recovery disc are made from my existent partition (C), or from my recovery partition (D), because I already have 150 Gb of my personal data in C.

The HP website doesn't provide any support for Windows Xp so someone please tell me where I can find the needed driver please?

I think I need first the SATA driver for XP install, and afterward the chipset, audio, video and network drivers.

I realise that probably no XP drivers were ever manufactured for my system, but I hope that someone could point me to another model of HP with the same hardware configuration.

I have to say to you that I wanted to downgrade to xp from the first day I bought my laptop, but I decided to give Vista another chance - until now.

Sorry for my english and I hope that you could help me.

Thanks in advance.
