'Invalid' Validation Code.

I've had my HP mini for a year now, and i turned my laptop on today to find that suddenly Microsoft Office is asking for my Validation Key. When i entered the one given for me at the back of my laptop it keeps telling me it's invalid. When i tried upgrading (since the 'Help-Me') suggested i may just need to update it, i was given a new validation key... which i can't even use since it contains O's and 0's which apparently you can't use!

 

I was supposed to get Microsoft Office free when i purchased the laptop, and I'm not rebuying it. Why has my validation key suddenly ran out and not working?

I'm guessing that you likely have a Trial Version.  The code on the laptop is for the OS, not Office.
