Hello, My computer is acting up so i figured that i would clear my hard drive and just restart, well, i think i need some didks or w/e, well i have lost those disks so i need to know how i can erase my hard drive. Or crash the computer or something! Help me please. Thanks

I just had to go through this same issue and the only way I found was to buy the cd's from hp

Cheryl is right, you need to try to access the recovery manager during boot by pressing F11 on your HP splash screen.

That way you would be able to run a recovery without the need of discs.

Or failing that depending on the age of the model, you can order hp recovery cd's online, or over the phone as well.
