As you can see this is my first post to hello to you all.
I'm very worried that there may be something wrong with either my laptop or the charger, I have no idea what caused it.
I was sitting at a table using my laptop with the charger plugged in with no problems. I picked it up to move it to the other side and it just went off. I restarted it via power on button and noticed that the power icon in the bottom right of the screen didn't have the charger icon, just the battery one (even though the charger was connected to the laptop).
I've tried all things to try and sort it, things like plugging it in at a different mains, blowing in virtually every possible place on laptop and charger to free it of dust, twisting, turning, you name it and nothing, this whole thing has me really concerned. I don't know if this makes any difference but there is a flashing orange light around the port of where the charger plugs into the laptop
I know that restoring it to factory settings might sort it, but I think it would only be a short-term fix and I have only just done it recently.
I've only owned the laptop since Xmas last year and this is the first major problem i've had with it. The model is HP 6735s
Has anyone had any similar problems, and if so, how do you sort them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated...
Thanks
Michael
