Microsoft Word Starter 2010 will not open. How do I get it to open Word documents again?

My Word Starter 2010 on my HP mini 210-2000 will not open. The program just stopped working today. How do I get it to start working again? The Click-to-Run Application Manager message says: " Microsoft Word Starter 2010 cannot be opened. Try again or repair the product in Control Panel." I cannot find a way to fix the problem in the Control Panel. How do I fix this problem? I use the program a lot for grading student essays.

Isn't it a trialware?? MS Office is almost on an each new computer these days but it's a trial version and works for a limited time period, like 30 days or 3 months. You can try it and at any time in the time period buy it but it won't work without entering a licence after that time..

BTW: As a linux user I do all my work for College (degree assignments) in Open Office (Libre Office) and then save it in MS Office formats like .doc etc..

Word Starter 2010 was developed for only mini computers. It is not a trial version. Starter only has limited Word and Excel functions.

1. Launch Program and Features from Control Panel
2. Right-click on Microsoft Office Starter Edition 2010 and choose Change
3. On the next screen click Yes to start the repair
4. Once the repair completes click OK

I have tried the solution posted to Change the software in Control Panel, however the app still fails to open.  Any other options out there?

Starter is not a trial program. It should be available permanently.

Hi is their any soultions for this kind of problem,,, try to do the this step
