My HP DV7's login has gone bananas. It shows my id but the password and finger scan is not working. (98 Views)

My HP DV7's login has gone bananas. It shows my id but the password and finger scan is not working.

HP Pavilion DV7, WINDOWS 7, NO error messages, login stopped working after "QuickWeb" downloaded on PC.

It tells me that password is not accepted and the finger scanner does not recognize my finger scan. Hence I am NOT

able to use my laptop. Would greatly appreciate if anyone knows how to bypass the login process and let me go in and work on the computer and re-enter the USER ID and PASSWORD and also if anyone knows how to disable the FINGER SCANS so it is no longer a part of the login. And better yet if anyone knows how to skip the login process and go directly to the home page.
