My Compaq laptop, using Windows 7 64 bit, starts up in "High Contrast" mode. I have to reset it, using to little "Ease of Access" clock icon on my login screen. A re-start, and it's back. Don't know what it did, but just started about a week ago. Also checked the "Ease of Access" feature, and no high contrast is selected there, also.
