My laptop will not turn on.

I found my laptop already turned on. I thought it was simply in sleep mode so I tried to get the screen up. However it didn't work so I turned it off. After that it will not turn back on. It's fully charged and it's not even a year old. The product number is 2VY3T-MRCD2-DPM7X-2P46M-9PJQ8. It has Windows 7 64-bit installed.  There is no response at all when I hit the on button.

If it isn't a year old you should still have warranty coverage>> Contact HP

Try a hard reset, works sometimes.Disconnect all external devices first.

1-remove power cord and battery

2-press power button for 30 seconds

3-reinstall only power cord for first startup.

4-power on

My laptop is a hp pavilion dm4  and i just bought it from a friend we tested it and it was fine. when i got to my house, i turn it on and it  just shows light on the screen and that is it..

why wont my laptop turn on because i have tried everything to get it tured on so i can do my email and stuff. i dont know the number of my laptop of my heart

Call to hp 1800-474-6836 and make and report i have hp dm4 berly a year same problem i spoke to hp and toll me is the motherboard if people start complaining can be made like manufacture issued and fixed for free i spoke to the manager nd i made the report ... They toll me $350 for fixed.... I dont think os not fair cuz is like new only 13 months old
