Need Specific How-To,Step by Step for Recovery Manager PLEASE!

I'm embarassed enough at my tech illiteracy so...is there a video or online screen by screen guide somewhere?

 I got my HP G7-1019WM Win7 Home about a week ago and finally got some discs yesterday to create the recovery discs.

So far I got as far as the "drag and drop files" screen and got that DUUUH feeling. WHAT files? Drag them from WHERE? Do I have to open a drive or file and drag one by one or can I drag the icon of the whole drive?

You can see my dilemma, yes? This learning curve is a bit steep for some of us "oldsters" and I'm not that old yet! Please help!

I know where to find the Recovery Manager and how to open it, I must've watched every utube last night that claims to show how to make the set- they all get as far as showing how to open it then say they already made their set but follow the directions...not helpful.

Believe me, I have more really stupid guestions that are probably second nature to anyone under 50 (except for my own non-tech inclined teen) and NEED help!
