Need audio driver for Presario V2000

Anyone can help me to find the audio driver for Presario V2000?

Since my OS changed to Windows 7, I can't find compatible driver for it.

I really need to play music and watch online stuff.

Mine is HP, Presario V2000.  What exactly product number are you asking for?

V2000 is the series.You have a full model number(section 1) and P/N (section 2)on the Service Tag attached to bottom of your laptop.

I can't navigate to a support page for that model..assume it was bought outside of US? HP recently changed site navigation and somehow 'broke' ability to find pages for some models outside US.

(The last letter would be alphabet O,not zero)

Start here to see if you can reach your models drivers page. If there is no Win 7 Audio driver use Vista audio driver:

Hey, what you replied is pretty much what the customer service replied.  

But, I am very grateful for your help. 

BTW, you're right that I bought this NB out of USA and I guess there's nothing I can do except for not upgrading my NB to W7.

please help!... mu OS running with my presario v2000 is Vista Home edition. all installed except no audio, and i took time to explore in the web. i got one under realtek AC'97 but always pop-up that the windows cant verify the manufacturer  and will stop installing. anyone can seed me an idea to complete this problem. thanks
