Need help going from WinXP to Vista Ultimate x64 on a HP DV6770se?

ok, well im on xp as the title says and im goin back to vista 64-bit...is there any special order i should install the drivers in? is there a guide i could follow?

So the notebook was originally in Vista64? Did you create the recovery dvd before you put XP on? if so then just use the DVDs. If no recovery disks, then did you keep the recovery partition? Try F11 on reboot.

No, it came with Vista 32-bit...so, I want a 64-bit operating system that will let my processor give it all! :smileyvery-happy: Anyways, yeah I have the 4 Recovery DVD's...but it's Home Premuim 32.

I have Vista 64 on my computer and I am trying to find out about going to the 32 bit system or even XP.  My Palm PDA does not work with vista and I have some software that they can not get to work with Vista 64 but it does run with the 32 bit Vista.
