New HP mini netbook. Getting bios application error 510 on first boot

HP Mini 5103 Product ID WZ288UT

 

New netbook mini getting the following on first boot:

The HP BIOS application selected is corrupt or missing.  Please install the application and try again.

 

BIOS Application Error (501)

 

ENTER - Continue

*****************************************************************************

 

The unit will NOT continue when hitting enter.  Had to reboot to get into Windows.

 

Is there an issue with these units?
