PROBLEM TO INSTALL THE PROGRAMME IN NEW LAPTOP

I just purchased a HP Pavillion g6 windows7 intel i3, when i open it MS DOS screen C:/ appered and now how installed the programme or activate the laptop i m confused please help me and also guide me how to install or how i out from MS DOS screen.........

Sorry, what are you trying to do now ? To get out C: prompt just type exit then press Enter.

As per your guide i typed exit and press enter but that screen is as it is. I want to inform you i am unable to install or open the laptop.

  On that screen the following line is displayed before C prompt :-

      Can't open CD driver FDCD001

       SHSUCDX can't install

(When i brought this new laptop in box i got only user guide CD), now please advice me how i open my laptop, because when i turn on my laptop firstly its asked me to choose the language,when i choose language than after above mentioned problem is occured....

Hi, my friend just got a Hp Pavilion G6 laptop n which came wid Free DOS. I wanna install Windows 7 Ultimate on it and facing same issue.
Error: Can’t open CD driver FDCD001 SHSUCDX can’t install.

Things I tried:

>>>Inserted the DVD n booted the laptop, it doesnt give any option to boot from DVD.

>>>Tried to get into BIOS using F2, no go. It takes to Hardware diagnostic.

>>>F12 to change the boot order, no go.

>>>dir command gives some system files. It just takes me to a DOS screen where I can select the Keyboard layout type (0:English, US). Any suggestions?
