Hi:

Those device ID's point to your Ricoh card reader like I posted above:

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_30BB103C&REV_0A
Host Controller - Ricoh

PCI\VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_30BB103C&REV_01
Ricoh SD/MMC Host Controller

Re: Pavilion 96315ea & Win 7 Problem

Thank you. I had already tried to install the drivers when You had reported them but nothing had changed. Now I have reinstalled all and the drivers have been recognized by the system. I don't understand why the first time the procedure was not successful. Thanks again.

Re: Pavilion 96315ea & Win 7 Problem

Hi:

You're very welcome.

I'm glad it worked the second time around. One would think computers should be completely logical, but perhaps they are not. :smileyhappy:

Re: Pavilion 96315ea & Win 7 Problem

Good job, so sorry for late reply, fortunetely there is a great poster from pjtikkanen.

The best order to clean install of OS should always start from chipset driver followed by reboot.

@pjtikkanen

Keep up the good work.
