Pavilion DV6 LAN driver issues on Vista 64

Hi guys,

 

Just installed Vista Ultimate 64bit on a DV6-1131EA laptop but I'm having issues with the networking drivers.

 

Despite the drivers page for my laptop having Broadcom LAN drivers, device manager shows a Realtek LAN device installed but not functioning.

 

Tried installing the Broadcom drivers anyway and updating the drivers for the Realtek device but no luck.

 

What should I do?

Try a driver directly from Realtek  for wired LAN HERE

 

For wireless..you may have Atheros rather than Broadcom.
