Re: Pavilion DV6920ei Downgrade to XP

XP-SP2 should install webcam driver automatically.

try windows update

or

try HP webcam driver here,

Here are the supported devices

[Devices]
USB\VID_04F2&PID_B053="HP Webcam [2 MP]”
USB\VID_04F2&PID_B082="HP Webcam [2 MP]”
USB\VID_04F2&PID_B107="HP Webcam [2 MP]”
USB\VID_04F2&PID_B059="HP Webcam [VGA]”
USB\VID_04F2&PID_B083="HP Webcam [VGA]”

USB\VID_04F2&PID_B093="HP Webcam [2 MP]”
USB\VID_0C45&PID_62C0="HP Webcam [VGA]”

If it failed, post your hardware ID, go to device manager, right click webcam device, tab to detail and choose hardware ID

You may use Cyberlink Youcam, it also works in XP

Here are QuickPlay software that work in XP
