Pavilion a6700f downgrade to XP Pro

Is it possible to downgrade a Pavilion a6700f to Windows XP from Windows Vista?  If so where would you get the needed drivers?

[ Edited ]
I just went through this exercise myself, with Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit. After initial OS install, I downloaded and installed the chipset and graphics drivers from NVIDIA, HD audio driver from Realtek, and wireless LAN driver from Ralink.

NVIDIA Drivers Downloads - Advanced Search

For chipset driver, select

-  Product Type: Legacy

-  Product Series: nForce 4 Series

-  Product: nForce 430 / GeForce 6150SE

-  OS, Language, Recommended/Beta: <your preference>

For graphics driver, select

-  Product Type: GeForce

-  Product Series: GeForce 6 Series

-  Product: GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

-  OS, Language, Recommended/Beta: <your preference>

Realtek - High Definition Audio Codecs

Choose one of the download sites for Windows 2000, Windows XP/2003(32/64 bits) Driver only (Executable file)

Ralink - Windows Support

Choose Ralink Part Number USB (RT257x/RT2671/RT520x)

Everything seems to be working well EXCEPT that capability to hibernate is disabled. I'm not sure how to fix that.

Okay, so I'm a dope. The answer is to go to Start > Control Panel > Power Options then click on the Hibernate tab and make sure the "Enable hibernation" option is checked. Duh.

Re: Pavilion a6700f downgrade to XP Pro

"not supported" does not mean "cannot be done". However, if you do downgrade to Windows XP, don't expect any OS or application support from HP. Even hardware support may be compromised unless you revert to Vista.

But if you do want to install XP on your a6700f, it is a very straightforward procedure as I had posted previously.
