Pavilion dv5-1044ca Quick launch button after windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

I upgraded to windows 7 ultimate 64 bit (clean install) and my laptop is working so much better. Running cooler and cpu usage is lower. The fan is not roaring like it was on vista home premium 32 bit.

However my quick launch buttons no longer work. I've tried every driver version I can find and tried various compatibility settings. On some versions the buttons work and the volume click is there for one operation then they no longer work. Can anyone advise me how I can get them working again?

Just tried it. Still doesn't work. I've tried SP46167, SP45889, SP45058, SP44135.
