Pavilion dv7 dual-boot

Hellow, I have recently bought a Pavilion dv7-1279wm, and it comes with Vista Home Premium x64 (64-bit), but I have encountered some driver compatibility problems with a hardware I really need to use. Is there a problem in makin a dual-boot with XP x86 (32-bit) and my vista? Will both coexist in harmony?, I really don't care much about all the drivers of the notebook, since I've found none xp-compatible drivers available for the system in HP Support, I just need for the notebook to work with this xp and don't disturb the Vista installation.

PD. Yup, I've looked all over the web for 64-bit drivers for my device, but the manufacturer supports no x64 OS, and I really need to use it, that's my need to install a 32-bit OS, preferably XP since it won't need a big partition for its installation.
