Well i fixed some Probs but i have allmost 8 Parts that dont match...

Plz can anyone help me to fix it?

I got the IDT Audio working but always have to start it about the "devon" fix on System StartUp.

...well it´s me again!

I found out that the 8 Parts are all for ACPI !?!?!

This ist what they say:    ACPI\PNP032\ (1-8)

Maybe this could help?

Most likely, that's the chipset driver that needs attention....

Re: Pavillion dv7-1060eg - Downgrade from Vista to WinXP! HELP!!!

For 7 unknown devices (buttons drivers), here

Installation --> right click machine.inf, choose install.

if it does not work, try manual installation

Go to device manager, right click unknown device,

Choose to update driver, No to connect,

Choose install from a list or specific location, Don't search, Have disk,

Browse to the location of machine.inf.

Do it for the rest of unknown devices

For IDT sound driver have you try SP39671, here

For CQ40 and CQ45, the devcon utility is no longer needed, the latest BIOS has fixed that problem.

I don't know if BIOS update will fix IDT sound driver problem for dv7 model.

Please try BIOS update with extra caution.

Good luck

Re: Pavillion dv7-1060eg - Downgrade from Vista to WinXP! HELP!!!

Hi Rakhmad,

that was it!

The 7 unknown Parts are fixed!

But the dv7 has defenetly the problem with the sound driver.

Not that the drivers wont load. It´s the sound itself.

It sounds terrible! But i dont no why!?

The first time i tryed it - befor i updated my BIOS - i had this IDT Icon for dsiabling the power management.

Now after updating the BIOS and reinstalling WinXP it´s missing!?
