Re: Discussion on Laptops and Netbooks

I want to know if I can uninstall my hp advisor from my Huwitt Packard laptop without it corrupting or removing any of my OS or windows files.  It got frozen when I was uploading McGafee Anti Virus and Spyware from a disk that came with some other software I got free with my computer.  It popped up and was doing some kind of upgrade at the same time and now when I click on the hp advisor program it comes up and is frozen and my cursor just keeps going around in a little blue circle.  I don't need the hp advisor as I have other things like windows and McGafee and System Mechanic that do all my protection for my computer.  Can I safetly uninstall the hp advisor without it messing with any files or removing any files that a mandatory to my laptop PC such as windows and and my operationg system files.  Please help me,  If  the hp advisor has to stay on my comp for the rest of the files to keep working I wil leave it and maybe buy another one to install over the top of the corrupted one.  But, I would just like to know if it is a stand alone program that I can uninstall......that is what I want to do, but without messing with any files that need to stay on my laptop.   Thank you,    Sharon

Re: Discussion on Laptops and Netbooks

Yes, you can uninstall Advisor without affecting anything else. Advisor is a buggy app anyway as you are seeing.
