I am trying to backup my Ipod to my new computer. I Tunes will not do this without first wiping out my content. Several forums have suggested going to folder options and showing hidden files. I finally found the folder options, which I only can find through a help window, and I changed it. The ipod still does not show up on 'My Computer'. Your answer to a similar question suggested going to windows expolorer and right clicking the ipod under it. I can't find any box titled "windows explorer". But what does come up where my memory sticks, dvd player, and c drive is does not still show my ipod. Do you know how to do this?

To open Windows Explorer hold the Windows flag key down and tap E

 

Win+E

 

Folder options can be found in Control Panel (icon view)
