I have reformatted my HP Pavillion DV2660SE today because i was told to by the people i took it to to get it fixed and now it says something about my HP_RECOVERY its red and says 418 MB of 7.03 should it be saying that if not what can i do to fix it is my hard drive faulty?

It sounds like the volume is damaged either by a failing drive or virus. Do you have the restore discs?
