Reinstall Office 2010 Preload

Hi,

I have a pavilion dm4-1160us and was cleaning up some of the bloatware and accidentally  removed the ms office 2010 thats preloaded. I went to recovery manager to reinstall it but its not on the list of preinstalled software.

How can I reinstall it?

Recover the system to a time before you uninstalled it, of course you'll also need to uninstall the bloatware again.

I have the same problem.  I removed the Office 2010 Software by mistake.  I do not have a previous restore point, or at least none is showing.  I understand that I can download a 60 day trial version, but I thought that the one I mistakenly blew away was a Starter Version as well that would not expire in 60 days.  Is there a way to get that version back?

Unless you are an OEM, which I am not, there is no help there that I could find.

How do I get Office Starter?

Office Starter is only available as preloaded software on select new PCs.

So, is there any way to recover the starter pack from the original files in the Recovery area without fully reloading my PC or to download it from HP?

Check in C:\SwSetup for an Office setup folder...may /may not be there. There is no download,afaik.

No joy.  Several other MS folders, but none containing Office that I could see.  Guess the uninstall did a really good job!
