After I upgraded my HP DV5029 laptop with XP Pro to service pack 3, the flash card reader would not recognize anything over 512meg. It was working on a scandisk 4gig before the upgrade so I know the hardware worked. I reinstalled the drivers from the HP site but no luck along with the hot fix from Microsoft.. After a month of beating my head against the wall, I found this link to a Texas Instrument vista driver that worked on my XP Pro. Now I can see a 16 gig SDHC.
