Simplepass Fingerprint reader no longer recognizes my fingerprints.

My HP Pavilion DV2 laptop running Windows 7 64-bit, Simplepass Fingerprint reader no longer recognizes either of my fingerprints. I can log on to it with my password but I cannot access the fingerprint reader to RE-ESTABLISH my logins. How can I recover?

Thanks for your input. I decided to re-install the program and everything appears to be OK now.

I didn't even have to re-register my prints.

It's happened again.

My SimplePass fingerprint reader again does not recognize any fingers.

I am getting tired of this.

Is there any info on WHY this is happening? I can still log on with my password.

When I open the reader software, there isn't any link to correct this problem and, the fingerprint link doesn't take me to the area to add or delete prints.

By the way, I am also an HP retirery (through their purchase of EDS).

Probably you have another user on the computer. I have a user to log in in the company and another to use at home. The fingers used at work can´t be registered or deleted when I am using the notebook at home and vice-versa.
