Simplepass will not remember Gmail password

I set up Simplepass for my Gmail account.  It worked once, but then the "don't remember password" (or something like that) for Simplepass was accidently clicked.  Now it does not automatically log into Gmail.  It just lauches the Gmail log in screen.

I've already right clicked on the Gmail icon in Simplepass and properly set my user name and password.

BTW, this is not specific to Gmail.  It happens to everything that you click the "don't remember" box for.

How do you get this back?

Any ideas?

I'm using Chrome Browser.

Well, you don't want it to remember your password and it obeys you.

Thanks for the reply.  So, there is no setting to reverse this?  If not, it is a very strange program.

what you need is to install the latest version of SimplePass, this is a 56MB File you need to download directly from the Providers website download manager, the recent version I think was issued in Mid march 2012

I just downloaded the latest version of simple pass as you suggested from your link or  from http://support.authentec.com/Downloads/windows/hpsimplepass.aspx
