Someone needs to make a thread that is just an all-purpose guide to getting XP drivers for your VISTA system. It would be, i think, a great idea to make one big thread dedicated to the topic of where to go to find these drivers rather than having hundreds of people post individual threads. This forumn has only been up...what two weeks? And already there are a couple dozen threads asking that exact same question.

I'm not gonna make the thread, cause I don't usualy support or recomend the downgrade on notebooks, so I don't even know where to look, but someone should.

and in concert with the laws you posted.. here's a really helpful hint when it comes to using Google!!

1.  Keep your search words refined.  Keep them simple..  for example, you will find what you are looking for if you use the search term:  DV6807NR XP drivers   then you would:  I need drivers for my hp pavilion dv6000 so i can run windows xp.

2.  Do your research before you post.  What that means for others, is that you aren't trying to get them to spend their valuable time so you don't have too.  That being the case, you are more than likely to get the help you are needing.
