Startup Hard Disk Error

My hp Pavilion g series... Model: g6-1331se... Product: A9V83EA#ABV... Windows 7... core i5...
has a startup error.. it says:

Hard Disk Error
Please run the Hark Disk Test in System Diagnostics.

F2 System Diagnostics

I did the hard disk test it says:
Primary Hard Disk Self Test
Quick Test.....
..... Full Test
Hard Disk SMART Passed
-------------------------------------
what should I do?

I think you must have two drives in your system because it looks like it said Hard Disk 1. I believe your first Hard Disk would be 0. Do you have two hard drives? I would check the 2nd one. Try to open your computer and see if you have a second drive listed, right click on it and go to properties, tools and check the disk.

this is what it says in the hard disk test in black screen:
Primary Hard Disk Self test

Press <Esc> to Continue

i cant get my pc to the desktop its in that black screen.. what should i do?

The hard drive has failed and you should have someone familiar with computers try to attach it to a desktop machine and see if they can do a check disk on the drive. They should also see if they can copy some important data from the drive over to their drive for you. Let us know if you have any success with the hard drive. If not, you will have to get a new one and reinstall from your recovery disks. If your system is under warrantee, contact HP customer service for replace or repair.
