Stolen HP

My G60-2440DX/TURIONTL60/3GB was stolen in school locker room, but I do have the original receipt from where I bought it. I was wondering if this would help to locate the serial number and IP address. Thank you for help.

HP does not monitor these forums, this is for user to user support only.  You can call HP support at 1-800-474-6836.  Tell the support agent that you need assistance in reporting your laptop as stolen, they can provide you with further information regarding the appropriate process with which to accomplish this.
