Just an FYI ... Going from Vista to XP is considered DOWNGRADING ...
LoL, just thought I would throw that in here.

I have been installing a dual boot system on my G60-125nr so that I can run legacy software under XP. The biggest problem for me has been getting the right graphics control driver to run but I thank I have now resolved that problem. I had tried all lthe 8200 drivers that come with the packages listed on the board with no luck. The performance was clearly unacceptable. then I read that the 8200M is teh same hardware set as the 9200 GS/9300 GS system. So I found a 9300 GS driver and loaded it. Wow what an improvement in performance. I am now a happy camper. I am still trying to resolve a problem with the Conexant HD audio drivers but everything else now seems to run. I purchased the driver set that is being sold on EBAY and for the most part it is well worth the investment. However, he did not have the right display control driver for my machine. If you are having problems with yours, then try the 9300 GS and you will be amazed by the improvement.
good luck

Very interesting..... Would these 9200 GS/9300 GS drivers work for VISTA? I'm willing to give it a shot! I recently purchased GTA IV and the game installed fine (G60-125NR, 4gb, 8200M) but ran slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't imagine with the processing power this thing needing that many resources! The video was choppy, slow and just overly too bad to play!
I'm willing to try anything at this point to avoid the wasted $30 on this game. My computer is very well optimized and I stay on top of cleaning my junk up so I know its not any type of lag thats keeping the game from functioning properly. I'd even be willing to upgrade my video card!
Somebody, anybody..
Give me some tips or pointers if you don't mind..
Thanks so much in advance!

I would suggest that you follow the same procedure you did with installing the other drivers. They obviously all worked correctly and its the same process, just different file name that you area running..
What I did was download ALL of the drivers so a specific directly on my USB-Thumb drive. Plugged the thumb drive into the computer to be updated or to have the drivers installed then proceeded accordingly starting with the LAN/WAN drivers first so I could perform the HP checkup online as well to assure I had the most up to date programs and drivers.
If all else fails then call HP directly. Its a free call!
Seems strange that you were able to install everything else BUT those particular drivers.
