I had a full version of Vista purchased for my HP computer, it crashed and I had HP restore the computer with original settings. Now my Vista product key wont work.
I have looked on the myriad of a website for microsoft but cannot find any information to contact someone without paying support fees.
Does anybody know what I can do to regain full access to my Vista programs??

Very odd situation.
Did you restore VISTA using HP recovery DVD?
If it was not, thats your problem.
You can not using product key from the back of your computer at ease. You need to make a phone call to microsoft to verify it.
Microsoft may ask you to call HP again
The easy way is to call HP
