Vista system recovery Error 0x40010013000001002 Compaq Presario c560us notebook

Please help, I am trying to do a system recovery, I put in the recovery disk that I made, start the computer, shows windows is loading files... then goes to screen micorosft corporation then to blue screen, and then goes to recovey manager.  I then click next, would you like to perform a system recovery?  I click yes then next, goes to factory image recovery screen,  the reformatting the windows partition of your hard disk drive is checked and it will not let me uncheck it, then an error box pops up  Error 0x40010013000001002  If this issue continues, please contact HP Support and an ok button.  When I click the OK button, it shuts down and restarts and does everything mentioned above again.  I tried the advanced options button, when I click on  recovery partition the screen flickers and goes back to the same screen, I can click on command prompt and get the commcand prompt.  I have ran the hard disk self test and it all passed.  I have tired f8 and clicked on the repair computer and it goes right back to the system recovery manager.  I tried contacting HP support and they never addressed the error message in my questions on how to fix this.  Of course Vista was preinstalled on my computer so I do not have a vista disk.  I typed in regedit from the x: prompt in the command prompt and I was able to click on computer and I could see that my d: drive was empty.  Can anyone help with this or have any suggestions to help get this computer running again?

Thanks,

try booting to bios.

-f10 when you see the compaq logo

-go to diagnostic

-perform hard disk drive self test

-if pass - try reinstalling vista - if failed - contact manufacturer order recovery disc

-if failed - replace hard drive

-hope that one will work
