Whilst switched off my Presario V6065EA continues to drain the battery and will often go into a strange lockout alarm mode
To be specific it makes a morse code type alarm tone (which is repeated continuously and does not alter tone or content
I
t also switches all fans to full power and the blue power light and volume strip panel lights up
The machine will not respond to any attempts to bypass this by pushing the power button or other keys and the only way to stop it is to physically remove and replace the battery 
Can someone please help as I am at a loss
Could it be a memory or other hardware related issue
What tests could I perform to isolate the problem
