Windows 7 x64 Qualcomm Gobi WWAN drivers

Hi

I've been waiting months for these drivers to appear and they finally made it onto the website (sp44916.exe) as v3.00, only to find that the downloaded executable does not work.  I get the following dialog box error message- 'The contents of this file cannot be unpacked.  The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of the file, verify its integrity and try again'.

I've downloaded this a second time and get the same error message.

Has anyone had any success?  I've even tried to run as administrator - same message.

Help!!!

Thanks

Michael

It's a 130M download (136,553,400), did you download and save to local hard drive first? Was the size correct after download?

I just tried the download and it worked fine. You might want try again. Probably save to disk first, at leat eliminate the download process. If still having error, check things like disk space, permmision setting.

Third time worked a charm - thanks for the suggestion.  THis time i used IE instead of Firefox, not that I expect a difference.  Anyway, all working now - thanks again.

Re: Windows 7 x64 Qualcomm Gobi WWAN drivers

[ Edited ]

So I have a HP Mini 110-1144NR netbook from AT&T and have installed Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit and am trying to run the same installer (sp44916.exe) while using what is listed as a HP at2410 via the bottom of the netbook. This is the driver listed on the software and driver page for my model laptop but when i run the executable and it extracts and auto-runs setup it just brings up a command prompt window and then it disappears after about 10 seconds and the driver still isn't installed and the Qualcomm Gobi card shows as disabled.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
