Windows 8 CP on HP G72-B63NR

I am having no luck installing the Windows 8 Consumer Preview on my HP laptop.

- No luck with dual boot (dynamic drives not allowed)

- No luck with virtual install (virtualbox)

- No luck with VHD install

I have come to conclusion that HP hardware does not support Windows 8. Can support staff investigate this and confirm? I think the virtualization option may be one of the reasons why Win 8 does not work on it. I am trying to upgrade all components now (including BIOS) to see if that helps. But otherwise this appears to be an exercise in futility, already wasted most of my Saturday. Disappointing, hardware that is barely 1 year old is antiquated for the next OS.

Re: Windows 8 CP on HP G72-B63NR

Win 7 is working fine. I am having trouble installing Win 8 as a dual-boot option or as a virtual install or as a VHD install. I tried the repartitioning option for dual-boot setup, did not work. Win 8 does not want to install on a dynamic volume.
