Windows Media Center won't play DVDs after upgrade

I prefer to use the Windows Media Center to play my DVDs over the other two "installed" options.  After upgrading from VISTA Home Premium I can't get them to play.  I have to use Media Player in 7....I really do NOT like the HP DVD player.
