HP Pavilion DV6-1030us. Had my computer for 4 years. Everything was ok. All of a sudden
getting message "Windows nor genuine" Vista came installed. I also noticed a message
"could not find serial number". Related? Thanks

Hi,
Shut down the notebook. Tap away at f10 as you start to access the Bios Menu. Next to the fields for Product Number, Serial Number etc do you see the correct entry or just something like 00a or 1234567890?
