Windows explorer crashing in Vista. I know, we've heard it all before and I should move on to 7.

Anyway, in the meantime, I get a lot of windows explorer crashes almost always when I'm mousing over the control panel using the Classic start menu. In Problem reports and solutions, I get the stuff below. Says there's a solution but I don't know where to find it. Anyone seen this or know the solution?

I'm using a dv6815nr w/ home premium sp1.

Re: Windows explorer crashing in Vista. I know, we've heard it all before and I should move on to 7.

From the problem signature the file that appears to be causing the issue is the ShellvRTF.dll. The crashes may be caused by an incompatible  context menu handler related to the  ShellvRTF.dll.

The ShellvRTF.dll (XSS ShellvRTF) may be associated with a program XSS Shell.

Is the  XSS Shell program installed on your system and, if so, can you uninstall this program and see if the issue resolves?
