Wish to sell laptop in clean condition. No Support CDs included. How to obtain?

I am trying to sell a Compaq laptop (Presario 2577AI), but can't find anyone who'll sell me the Support CD media to get it working again (the HP Restore Discs). Then would I need to buy and use Windows XP CD to install Operating System as well?  Any help truly appreciated. Matt. New Zealand.

 Did you not make a restore CD set whenyou first got the computer?
